Today here are some “mOneY fUn FaCts”

Did you know that a penny costs more to manufacture than it’s worth? It costs the government roughly $0.02 to make a single penny!

Did you know that the secret designs on the $1 bill link it to the original 13 colonies? If you look closely at the $1 bill, you will notice a few interesting things tied to the number 13 which is a reference to the original 13 colonies.

For example:

1. 13 different representations of the number 13 on the bill.

2. 13 steps on the pyramid.

3. 13 vertical bars on the shield.

4. 13 horizontal strips on the top of the shield.

5. 13 stars above the eagle.

6. 13 leaves and berries on the olive branch in one of the eagle’s talons, and in its other talon are 13 arrows.

7. On the front of the bill, on the Department of Treasury seal, there are 13 stars above the key.

So, why am I looking up fun facts about money? Well, a wise uncle once told me ” Keep track of your pennies and the dollars will take care of their self”.
